As I look at my children, I (almost) always smile. It’s not necessarily that they make me smile, although that’s true as well.
I smile because I want to see them smile.
Why do I want to see them smile? Subconsciously, because it makes me feel good (and because I know they’re happy, of course). I, in turn, smile back. And then they smile. You see the pattern here, right?
Smile begets smile. Sometimes smiles beget laughter and you know what they say about laughter. I think they say that laughter is the best medicine. There may be some truth to it.
Just imagine what kind of world we’d live in if we’d all smile at each other. How much better would our lives be if we just smiled like children do?
This deep, intellectual moment brought you thanks to a long day, smiling kid pictures, a hot bath, and a cool glass of wine. Cheers to smiling and a positive take on life!
